Colour Session editorial policy

This page states how Colourfulplay checks Colour Session runs, what gets published, and how mistakes are corrected. The policy was last aligned on 5 November 2026.

What the desk covers

Colourfulplay ranks and reviews local HTML5 builds hosted on this domain under /play/. The Colour Session swatch currently holds Tip Dash, Soak Sprint, Wreck Rise, and Wreck Swing. The desk does not list third-party store apps and does not claim store ratings or install counters for these runs.

Sources of fact

Facts come from playing the hosted build and from the accompanying project notes shipped with each run. If a metric is not available — for example a public star average or a download band — the page says so. Missing numbers are never filled with plausible guesses.

Ranking method

Order follows session clarity: how quickly a first run communicates its core verb, risk, and fail state. Clarity is editorial judgment, not a hidden scoring spreadsheet. Re-ranks are dated in the Check archive when the order changes.

Independence

Colourful Play is not affiliated with Google, Apple, or any app marketplace. Hosting a browser run here does not imply endorsement by a store or by a third-party engine vendor.

Corrections

Factual errors are dated on the Corrections page after verification. Cosmetic copy edits that do not change a fact may not appear there. Contact the desk when a Colour Session claim looks wrong.
